Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Indiana recently mobilized to Elmhurst, IL to assist the Chicago area. Our customer needed to determine if there were any UST’s leftover on the abandoned site. The technician was able to scan the area and provide a detailed report indicating where the tanks were removed from. This allows our customer to know without a doubt that tanks were removed and where to place soil borings to determine if the soil has been contaminated.

Ground sonar technology sends an electromagnetic pulse into the soil and displays an image to be interpreted by our highly trained and certified technicians. Our technicians then map all the findings on the surface of the soil and can also provide detailed reports or maps for our customers.
