GPRS Inc. Saves Customer’s Time and Money with Discovery - Corydon, IN

Cutting through any surface is a dangerous affair and can shut down any project quickly. That is why our customer hired us to locate any dangers BEFORE they cut the asphalt. Our customer needed to reroute the storm water drains without damaging any existing utilities, which could shut down the bank. The technician on site was able to locate any dangers in the saw’s path so it could be avoided. Not only did the technician ensure no utilities were severed, he also noticed that an area where our customer was going to tie into the main storm water sewer wasn’t there! The main line was segmented into two parts; this discovery saved our customer valuable time and money.

Soil imaging is the most efficient way to know what dangers are in the area before the saw cutting or excavation process. The electro-magnetic pulses are harmless to humans, and they reflect on any material that may be in the soil such as: PVC conduits, metal utilities and voids. If your company would like to avoid change orders caused by severed utilities, conduits or voids contact your local GPRS representative today at sam.baldwin@gp-radar.com or 317-504-1068. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Indianapolis cover all of Indiana and have assisted on projects from: South Bend, Muncie, Terre Haute, Evansville and everywhere in between.
