Utilities are not the only dangerous items below the surface of the soil; underground voids can be dangerous anomalies as well. After a recent soil collapse in a roadway in Lawrenceburg Indiana Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Indianapolis was hired to locate any other existing underground voids that may be in the area. The Technician on site was able to scan the gravel roadway and map out the perimeters of several other underground voids in the area so our customer could determine how to repair them. The information that was mapped on the surface of the soil allowed our customer to know exactly where the voids existed.

Soil imaging and scanning is an excellent way to locate dangers below the surface. GPRS of Indy has several radar antennas at our disposal to ensure that we can handle any problem our customers may have. Private soil sonar imaging is a nondestructive way to detect dangers because ground radar doesn’t emit any radiation.
